We were saddened to learn that our dear Anna  passed away on October 5. Anna spent almost 25 years with the l'Arche Ottawa community, joining in 1975 when it was called Alleluia House. Anna was full of spunk, a hard worker and a dedicated lover of animals. She especially loved her rabbits who gave her so much pleasure and truly showed her gentle caring side. She was proud to show how well she took care of them. After she moved on from l'Arche, she often welcomed us in her apartment to share a good meal, that she prepared with pride. She had such a good friend in Audrey as they helped each other to create a true home on Piccadilly. We extend our condolences to Anna's family and friends and those who supported her. She had an impact on all of us in so many ways over the years. May you continue to watch over all of us whom you have touched on your journey. Thank you Anna Gordon!

Nous sommes attristés d’apprendre que notre chère amie Anna Gordon est décédée le 5 octobre. Anna a passé presque 25 ans dans la communauté de L’Arche Ottawa; elle est arrivée en 1975 lorsque le nom était Maison Alléluia. Anna était une femme déterminée, une travailleuse acharnée et elle avait un amour inconditionnel pour les animaux. Elle aimait particulièrement ses lapins qui faisaient ressortir son côté doux et attentionné et lui procuraient une grande joie. Elle était fière de montrer qu’elle en prenait bien soin. Après que Anna a déménagé de L’Arche pour aller en appartement,  elle recevait ces amis de L'Arche pour de bons repas  qu’elle préparait avec fierté. Elle avait développé une grande amitié avec Audrey, et les deux femmes s’aidaient mutuellement pour créer un vrai chez-soi sur la rue Piccadilly. Nous offrons nos condoléances à la famille d’Anna et à ses amis et aidants, qui, comme nous, ont été touchés par Anna au cours des années. Anna, continue de veiller sur nous tous. Merci, Anna Gordon !
